2 lads in June for 2 nights near Coedybrenin. We're doing the trail centre one day and Cadair Idris on the other, so somewhere south of coedybrenin would suit, but not in town.
We'd like somewhere not too formal with a fridge so we can stash some beer and hopefully a bit of a view so we can sit out somewhere nice supping our beer afterwards. Has to provide a cooked english brekkie. A pub within walking distance would be preferable but not a deal breaker.
What ya got? thanks

Right by CyB if you can get in are Old Skool MTB and Cae Gywn, both have a good breakfast and nice places to stay.

We can hit most of your demands, just no pub in walking distance. We are set right in the middle of the trails so you can ride right from our door.

Fridges in the rooms, outside seating with a view up the river and breakfast.

Secure bike storage and washing facilities as well.

Check our website www.mostyncottage.co.uk or give us a call to check availability

Not been for ages, but we used to stay at Heulwen in Llanfachreth. Very good. Kinda stopped riding at CyB, which is the only reason for not returning there.

We stay in Dolgellau, some nice pubs- if you like rough looking, very friendly, great dukebox, pool, cheap beer. A great Brasserie, and a mediocre curry house, and a standard ie terrible Chinese.

Favouite place is Ty Seren

https://www.tyseren.co.uk

The Ship hotel also nice, but only 1 twin room I think.

Secure storage with tools, hose area, amazing breakfast, clean rooms, great hosts.

Honestly a night out in Dolgellau is great, plus 4 pints for a tenner!!! Find the Stag Inn, it’s ace.

Another vote for Heulwenguesthouse here, been going back for at least 15yrs now, stayed at many other places when others have organised the trip, but they're always my first choice if i'm in charge of booking.
