Ideally in the Llanberis, Dolgellau and Betws-y-Coed triangle.  Comfortable rooms, good food and an array of fine ales please.

I was going to suggest the Tyn y Groes just outside Dolgellau, where I've always been well looked after. Hadn't been for a while, so looked at some reviews. Possibly closed! 🙁

The Heights in Llanberis.

Not stayed over but ticks the good food and beer boxes.

Yes that looks closed for the foreseeable.  You had me panicking for a bit as I found the Groes Inn from my first Google.  This looks great and has cask ale at £3.25 a pint but as the rooms are £200 a night I was trying to work out if that was enough of a cross subsidy to sell it to my friends!

We stay here. Secure basement for bikes, a great breakfast and friendly hosts.

Right in the center of Dolgellau so a pick of the pubs, The Star being a particular favourite.

Plas y Brenin have some B&B facilities so may be worth a look. Rooms a bit on the primitive side but on the flip side has its own skills track and the bar normally has some decent beers as well.

Tyn y coed in Capel Curig.  It's a bit expensive but it's a lovely pub and does good food.  Bike wash and secure storage.

Second for the heights in Llanberis. Decent pub food, good selection of beers and got a number of bunk rooms. Will let you keep your bikes in a store room to. Would be very surprised if it’s closed as always doing a roaring trade every time I’m in there

Pete’s eats in Llanberis also has a bunk house, not sure on bike storage though
