My trusty Gill waterproof shell has gone missing, I need another waterproof jacket.
Waterproof and no lining. Hard to work out which has a lining and which doesn't.
Any recommendations?
Three-ply or three-layer fabric is what you're looking for in terms of it being a single layer fabric with no drop liner. Two-layer fabric, counter-intuitively, has a liner, always. While 2.5-layer fabric is, again, a single fabric with no liner.
I've got one of these, not lined and a great bit of kit.

I've had the above for over 10 years, it's been great
Decathlon ST900 I haven't actually seen this in the flesh but you can't tend to go to wrong with their kit IME.... waterproof and pit-zips, with no hood
I'm getting good results from a Columbia Outdry jacket. Looks a bit naff with the glossy outer but performs really well in terms of waterproofing and breathability. Less rigorous cleaning regime too.
Recommend what you've got, if you can find one. Endura hummvee convertible. Having the ability to remove the arms has been surprisingly useful once you've warmed up. Lovely and dry when it's chucking it down. Seems to be surviving the weekly cover it in crap rides. You do get a bit damp inside if you're putting some effort in but it's not that bad.
