The wheels mfg bearing drifts/spacers are a fairly easy way of buying exactly the sizes you want. Then add a press with the right size threaded rod and you're there (I had one already that fitted).

i use these and an appropriate piece of threaded rod for the most part.
I've used a socket set and screwed rod for years with no problems.
