I ruined my Fox Launch knee pads on the weekend, (I tore the fabric on the front of one of the pads and now the hard shell is falling out!), so now I am in the market for some new DH knee pads for my upcoming trip to Andorra. I figure hard shell ones will be harder wearing for the inevitable crashes!
What do you recommend? I have seen the 7IDP index knee pads going cheap on CRC, they could work. Anyone else using something suitable? Longs days pedaling are not on the cards.
I am happy to go 2nd hand too as they will probably get ruined!
