I want to replace the wheels that came on my nomad with something a bit lighter and possibly nicer. I am very much looking at hunt trailwide as i have seen them in the flesh and they are very nice. However am i missing some other options? I have considered hope fortus 26 and stans flow s1 but keep coming back to the hunts.

I would want something with about a 30mm internal diameter rim.

What others are out there in the sub 450 price range? Im happy enough to go 2nd hand if its a bargain (200ish). What would you lot do?

I'd have the Hunts, TBH, they look an absolute bargain

I've heard (third hand) that Hunt are having supply issues with some folks waiting a while for wheels - any substance to that?

I got hunt enduro wide and they have been brilliant, only for a short time but recommended none the less.
I have a set of hope pro 4s with DT Swiss ex511 rims for sale within your bargain budget! Free tyres with them too ha ha

They do indicate pretty clearly on the site what is and isn't in stock. For In stock stuff, I ordered a set Thursday and they arrived today which is pretty decent for international shipping.

I bought a Newmen rear wheel from bike24. It's about 920g for a 30mm internal aluminium rim, for about £300. It hasn't exploded yet, but it hasn't had much really hard riding.

The Newman wheels look great.
Going by reviews they are potentially DT Swiss strength, weight & reliability for less money?!

The Newman wheels come specced on quite a few of the higher end Cube and Radon bikes.

I've got a set and having just come from DTEX511/Hope Pro4 combo they feel pretty decent.
