Looking to get into gravity enduro racing this winter. As such, I'm looking for some events suitable for someone new to the racing scene.

I'm based in the London area, so would prefer races in the south of England and Wales.

I heard that the Welsh Gravity Enduro Series was a good introduction - what do you think?

What else should I consider?

Also, does anyone publish a calendar of all upcoming enduro events in the UK?

You’ve got quite a few options for next year. Two southern series, rounds as QECP etc. Ive done two rounds of the Welsh GE this year and both decent, Charlie is a good guy and makes good stages.

Also the mini enduro at FOD in October is a good starter.

I’m based in London as well and race a fair bit with a few others, let me know if you want to get involved.

Thanks northerntom.

Just to clarify, are the two southern series you refer to Enduro1 and Southern Enduro?

Thanks for the offer btw - it would be great to get involved with some more experienced riders in the area. Give me a shout if you'll be entering anything in the near future.

So I believe there is a series called the southern Enduro series next year, as well as the south west enduro series, being done by some of the trail builders who helped out at the UK Gravity Enduros. There is also the Enduro1 events, but to be honest, from experience, I wouldn’t bother.

Yeah, let me know if you want to join, where are you in London? We ride out in Surrey and do a fair few away trips most weekends

scottfitz of here is setting up a southern enduo series for 2016

it might be shit! 😉 but based on the QECP events he and his team have run in the past I think itll be pretty damn good

Enduro1 arent too bad ime, maybe not always as slick as some of teh others but some good races

and the SW enduro series being set up by the cornish trail pixies should be very good as they have a lot of experience building tracks for UKGE races

Plus there's the Welsh gravity enduro series

Mash up race sounds a lot of fun and Charlie knows his shit

Thanks kimbers.

northerntom, I also ride in Surrey a fair bit. I usually go out riding with the Nirvana Cycles (Wescott) gang on Sundays at 11AM. Feel free to join us, though I I'll be away on holiday during the next 2 weekends. I live on Upper Street, Angel, Islington.

Yep that's me happy to answers any questions too.
According to Google all 4 round* will be under 1h 30mins from Islington.
First round will be in April 2016.

*If current venue plan comes off.

Also I will be running the QECP Day & Night enduro in May 2016 too.
