I have some Planet X ones which I love but are a bit sweaty, can anyone suggest an upgrade?

I get on well with DHB ones - I think they're Flashlights, so not especially fancy.

Should probably note though that I have owned some Planet X ones (365's?) in the past which I found to have an oddly shaped pad and I was never really comfortable in those. So if you like them, the DHB ones may feel a little odd to you. Or not. A chap's undercarriage is a personal thing.

Quite impressed with the Endura fs260 3/4s. Good fit, good chamois and nice warmth to the fabric. Good grippers too.
Tried some dhb aeron flt 3/4s and the fit was off; short in the legs, which was a shame as the chamois was very good.

I've had some Pearl Izumi ones which were awful and felt cheap and some Lusso ones which were very nice, and ones i'd definately recommend.

My Lusso 3/4s are my go-to bibs at the mo.

DHB Classic 3/4 for me, I've found them very comfortable and warm enough.

Galibier for me - great quality, good fit (do trus their guide - I went up a size), really good pad. Very fair price for the quality.

Isadore 3/4s for me. I’ve also got the Dhb, mine have a fleece inside. Nice and warm but the after about 3 years the pad has started to feel a bit thin.....get a sore bum when using them. They’ve not had an overly busy life as only wear them for a handful of times a year.

They tend to be a bit of a Goldilocks product, it’s too cold for normal shorts and leg warmers but too warm for full longs....

The normal bib shorts are brilliant, I've not used the 3/4 ones but apparently the 3/4 ones only just go over the knee.

However, they are on sale if you are quick! So much better than the planet x ones I owned. I just use them on the rollers now.

I bought some Gore Wear C3 from CRC a couple of months back. Only had a couple of rides in them due to injury but seemed decent quality and the right balance between warmth and sweaty mess for me (sweaty Herbert/run hot mostly).

Knee warmers?

Arguably more flexible choice for those in-betweeny days

Nothing but good things to say about Endura FS260 bibs or shorts.
