After 10 years of abuse I have decided to buff up my Kaffenback
I have previously used 28mm Panaracer Pasela's because they roll and grip well, but they are an old tyre and have been out for years any other recommendations
Conti GP 4 seasons, big bit of everything, really good tyre if your after something with the same/better attributes to the Pasela.
GP 4 season in 28mm here - they are great. very good feel, relatively light weight and thus far puncture free.
hmmm 4 seasons anything else????
Any other attributes your after? How about Schwalbe Land Cruisers? 3 Peaks favourite, run nice on the road and surprisingly good off if you foray into the rough, cheap and bulletproof too. Judging by your OP I take it outright speed isn't important?
tbh you are right when you ride a Kaff speed is not one of it's fortes, but I do want good grip and easy rolling for ease when doing distances
Again - the Conti 4 Seasons are a revelation. I started on my Triptser with some Schwalbe Marathons, then lightened up (by about 50%!) with some Vittoria Randonneurs which were fine, then someone on here laughed at me discussing wanting to reduce the weight of my wheels and recommended the Conti 4 Seasons. They're so light, grippy, supple and very puncture resistant (famous last words!) - I don't know of anything better. All the above were / are used in 28mm width, btw.
