For the last few years I have been wearing 5-10s low impacts.
Since twunting my ankle it moves in a funny rotation which means I rip holes in the soles inside 6 months. I just looked on CRC and they want £85 so I wondered if there was anything similar but cheaper.
Not too fussed about the looks as I look bad whatever I wear.
Recommendations please
have you tried a boot type shoe??
securing the ankle may help stop you rotating in the footbed as much??
I tried for one ride of about 2 hours but it made my ankle swell and hurt and i was on crutches again for a month which wasn't ideal.
I have bust the talas (sp?) which basically means foot can't lean sideways and because of misshapen hips my pedaling action requires my foot to lean out at the top of its stroke. For my left foot there is no problem but for my right foot the shoe ends up doing the leaning instead of the foot and the pedal spikes pull the sole off.
