I have decided id like to try rigid to minimise the potential for maintenance/failure of my forks. It wont be my main bike, so i can pick and chose when i use it.
Obviously another bike raises spending budget problems, so can anyone recommend a manufacturer/seller of rigid 29 forks please? I appreciate that inexpensive things are the best value if they break or injure you, so im looking for any experiences before my paranoia tells me i should only buy Enve......
I've recently got some Travers Prong XC forks; clearance for a 29x3 tire, can come with mounts for anything cages, stiff yet compliant.
I like it
Currently the Prong seems to be in boost size for 29er....
Exotic carbon. A bit of give, but stiff enough imo.
I have just put a Whiskey Parts carbon fork on my Yeti ArcC. A little expensive, but very nice and matches the frame perfectly
Also currently available non boost if that helps
Surly.
I have a Travers prong going if you're interested? Standard qr. Tapered. 175mm steerer length. 485mm crown to dropout.
Another vote for Exotic / Carbon cycles.

Exotic/CC. I had them on my El Mariachi after buying them off Northwind and they've since gone on to a third home.
