That sit well over knee pads. I don't need a liner and the lighter the better, summer is on the way down here!
TIA

Endura do a lightweight Humvee 3/4's - really comfortable and very light and airy.

My favourite shorts at the mo are tld skyline, light material, knee length, plain and simple. I've got the red ones and wear them all the time on and off the bike. Thinking of getting some more, but a bit pointless now autumn is here, as they are very much a summer short IMO. They're a slimmer fit than most I've had, so no room to add a liner short, but no catching your shorts on the saddle etc.
bikeradar have a review of them, 2013 range now available at crc.

TLD Skyline feel like gossamer on my legs. I fit a liner under them.

But yes, they are a summer short, and I'm glad to have my Moto's for winter.

I like my Fox Altitudes, very light and airy. Unfortunately I didn't get to wear them this summer............

just bought some raceface shorts. Super smooth material and stretchy. Baggies, with a bit of give. Really nice and warm too.
