My kids ride a Frog 43 and Frog 48. I'd like to upgrade the tyres to something with a bit more grip for riding loose gravel in the forest. Tyre sizes are 14" and 16". Any suggestions?
Thanks
Can anyone help?
Our are on small block 8's for the dry and conti explorers for the wet/mud. Not sure about the size range for the explorers, but CRC stocked them when I last looked.
Kenda Small Block 8's wot like the Isla's have (Isla and a Frog here). Definitely good 'universal' kids tyres. I don't seasonally change my own tyres so nack all chance the kids are running multiple pairs.
Cool, thanks guys I'll look into them
Anything with small knobbles?
The place where I bought my sons Frog from just chucked in a set of knobbly tyres.
Small knobbles - go for the small block 8's. Kids seem to get a lot of grip and speed out of them.
SB8s here too. Fat ones if a) you can find them, and b) they fit the frame and brakes.
