Went out for a run tonight and seriously sore. Don't know why, I'm fit, been getting plenty of exercise, it wasn't that cold and had 3/4s on, but got DOMS kicking in half way through. Kept going and really struggled to walk home afterwards...
Would embrocation beforehand help me out? Not had this before...
sometimes you just have a bad day or a crap run/match/ride etc. That's what I put it down to when I've had a bad 'un. If it happend again on the next run then it's not just a bad day
I thought DOMS came 24/48hrs later not during the run?
Isn't the DO in DOMS "delayed onset", mine usually starts >24 hrs after ride / run.
Fitness on bike doesn't necessarily equate with running fitness?

Graeme Obree agrees with me that embrocation is effectively a placebo or worse actually as it means you lose more heat from your skin.
