Looking for something not much more rise than a flat bar but not a flat bar. Niner do a carbon one I fancy except the price, "Carbon Flat Top"? Does anyone do an alloy bar of similar shape? Probably difficult with alloy.
Any ideas? 680mm to 700mm wide is more than enough.
Ta for your ideas (and pics if you are running such a beast).
truvative noir world cup.
I got my Niner Flat Top from Stif Cycles a few months ago, I'm pretty sure they had the alloys aswell.
My other bike has Nukeproof something or other, which is almost identical to the Niners AFAIC, only cosr £40 I think, but again, I'd describe them as flat, not slight riser.

Slight riser is usually called sweep I think.

Sunnline do a flat bar - 762 if I recall. Guess how wide it is? I cut mine down to 720mm
USE Atom. Very well made, not too expensive, 'sensible' light yet solid. Has alloy inserts.
What is wrong with a flat bar? If it works, just getting a higher rise stem...arse to fashion police...if it does the job why change it?
Sunline's 762 is a lovely bar. Great shape, and designed to be cut down as well (though the name stopsmaking any sense obviously)
ditto, you can get some pretty wide ones with lots of sweepWhat is wrong with a flat bar?
3T do an alloy bar that 'rises' from the bottom but is flat along the top, and Crank Bros do a range of bars which are only just risers
Flat bars are now cool? You need to get some risers now Dick and Donk. 😉

There's a few that are flat along the top now, I've got a pair of Bontrager "Big Sweep" bars kicking about I was going to try, but at 640mm they're a bit narrow now I've gone up to 720mm on my full sus!
In fact i'm thinking of getting some of those Sunline 762's. I love my V1 19mm risers, only now I've got used to running a lower front end on my HT, and I can't physically drop the stem any more on my full sus, some flat bars might get the position I want on it. Shame they're over £50 for some ally bars!!!
Oh and the Crank Bros bars are apparently an 8mm rise, which is about as low as it gets without quite being flat. But they're only a maximum 680mm wide sadly. Raceface do a couple of bars (Atlas FR and the Deus) that come in a 1/2" rise too (so 12.7mm) which have a very nice sweep and shape.
10mm rise Renthal's

Have you looked at the Raceface Atlas low rise ones? (As mentioned above, they're 0.5" rise). They're wide but can be cut down and are a really nice shape. They also come in nice colours.
I do run risers 🙂 and lots of spacers under the stem coz I like a stupidly high front end. Was just wondering why the OP wanted a riser with virtually no rise. You need to get some risers now Dick and Donk.
Never really saw the point of "riser" for my riding and don't think they look particularly "nice" but then don't think the true "flat" bars do either (especially with OS clamp). I like the look of the virtually no rise "riser" so sorry if that offends you. I'm sad enough to actually find the look of bicycles "important" and want my bike to look how I want.
I have a 7 year old Max-M Mx5 carbon bar, it's excellent, somehow both light and indestructable.
+1 to Race Face low risers - Atlas or SIXC if you're feeling flush.
Deus XC 3/4 riser bars are good, got mine from wiggle for about £23 the other week. They'll probs have some left.
