me and Mrs nacho are looking at buying a turbo trainer, we want something easy to store (not much room) cheap and simple, happy with used, any suggestions?
thanks
Look at TACX, not cheap but their real life videos are excellent, I had a cheap turbo for a winter, used it twice, bought a tacx 2 years later, use it at least once a week, so the cheaper one was worse value for me !
Search will be your friend as this comes up numerous times. You will also find some training tips for the turbo as well to help avoid the boredom.
I have the Elite Volaire Mag Elasto Gel and like it. I got mine from Decathlon for £99 I think it was. Not sure if they are still in store or not.
cheers chaps, done some searching and saved a couple of links, Decathlon still have the Elite Volaire so might get one of those as we are currently trying to keep costs down, we can always upgrade at a later date........
Just ordered one of these Trax Sirius
mainly as the review said it was quiet and worked pretty well. Only £126 at wiggle at the moment too
Got a Tacs Sirus from Decathlon for christmas..
As turbo's go, it seems ok..
Cycleops Mag Turbo Trainer here. Simple to use, easy to store away, and relatively cheap and it does what I want it to do.

Or Elite RealAxiom/RealPower, best bought 2nd hand though.
