just remember when finished using the torque wrench to always set it back to 0 or you will stretch the spring and it wont be accurate

Isn't the recommendation to set a low torque value on storage rather then zero ?

How much do you want to spend? And what are you looking to torque up to with it?

Seems ok to me. Unlike many it measures to a fairly low torque. Comes with a calibration certificate which I hope is at least vaguely accurate (I have no way to confirm this). But I've been using it for a while and nothing has snapped yet.

This. Reasonable price, good quality, calibrated, no extra fittings needed.

You're more likely to strip threads rather than snap stuff.

Nor bar are good although you pays your money, you make your choice is a good guide, especially for tools.

I've got the bbb btl-73 one. Was very impressed with how well it seems made and works. As someone else said, you have to turn it down to a very low torque but not zero after use.

Also, having read some reviews from people who didn't like it, learn how it works before using it in anger. They 'give' slightly at the set torque rather than making a loud click so you need to feel it.

The ones in b&q are good enough and only £25. Mine goes down to 4nm and I've never under or over tightened anything with it. I also have one of those 5nm hex keys which seems ok
