I've been given the go-ahead to start using a static bike as part of my recovery from breaking my leg before New Year, so I'm keen to get a spin bike.
Any recommendations? Happy to pay up for quality / useful features, but probably not in the Wattbike league!
Get an ex-gym one off ebay if you can. This one cost me #60 or so a couple of years back

Only recommendations I would give are wheels on the base, so that you can tilt and move it more easily (they are v.heavy). And the friction lever offers positions, rather than one I tried in the gym the other day which just rotated continually (so you couldnt tell where you were in effort level)
