Tried a spoon, too narrow, my medium specialised henge.. Hurts.

I measure130mm which equates to me needing something around 150 wide.

I want it to still look racey without feeling like I'm sitting in a sofa.

She's a beauty alright, would double up as an ironing board too.

2nd the charge spoon. I got measured on the spesh saddle chooser device and the guy in the shop took great pleasure in telling me that I had a 'wide arse'. Bought the wide spesh saddle which was quite comfy but was difficult to get over the back on steep sections. Charge spoon is a very good compromise between comfort and being able to move about over it

Get down to your LBS, Bontrager, Spesh and, I think, Fizik do a 30 day trial warranty

Second the spesh recommendation, they do some 'racy but wide' versions. Not cheap though, compared to some of the spoon and spoon-alikes.

What about a ladies saddle - e.g. Charge Ladle (or Madison Breeze for less girly-coloured highlights)
