Rode the Gap on Saturday and liked it, bit bumpy on the 456 😯
Looking to explore a bit more navigating with the garmin 800.
Anyone rode the talybont forest route?
Any locals with Gpx routes or advice would be much appreciated.
Bump for the weekday peeps.
Have a Google for Talgarth and "Black Mountain" routes. A great route and the Y Das descent is pretty tasty, although there is no small degree of controversy on which way around this route should be done.
Did you do the Tramroad on the way to the Gap? Thats fun and there are some extra bits you can add in around Talybont.
Ystrafellte area has some good riding too and its possible to link it all up.
Any of these routes worth a go?

They are both good loops in the dry but at this time of year they are going to be a little hard going. Where as the Gap loop is mostly rock based and is good all year round the further east you go the more soil based it gets.
Are you based near Talybont or are you just fancying riding that area?
Bristol based and just looking for new places and routes to ride.
