My rear led went pop last night (along with a puncture and a broken Hope vision 4 clamp - bad night!).

Any recommendations?

needs to be bright (brighter the better) for the ride back from the forest and as waterproof as possible (last one full of water, hence the problem! - although I have had it years).

Many thanks 😀

Go one of the new Leyzene ones a few weeks back - seems pretty good and recharges via a usb port.

Smart R2.

Just put a smidge of vaseline on the rubber seal between the two halves to keep water out.

I've got a Cateye TL-Rapid 3.

It's so bright all my ride buddies don't like riding behind me!

Another vote for Smart Lunar R2 here. I had mine on on a night ride, off road and it provoked the comment: "can you turn that ****ing thing off?" as it was a tad bright 😀

Hope District+, as bright as the sun, and can share the battery from your Vision 4.

+ flare - but mine blinds mates when out riding at night, i have to turn it off on the off road sections as its just blinding and dazzling if behind me...

ive been thinking of selling it (although its great if you commute etc), and getting a light and motion viz 180 micro, so i can put it on lower settings, and its still plenty bright enough, just not sure whether it would be waterproof or not? as the flare has endured a full peak distrcit, wet/soggy/muddy winter!
