Looking for an honest non politically aligned independent news site I have used Reuters but its to pro bizz and the Beeb is a little to government oriented any suggestions

oh would prefer more European / world not just uk/us.

Try 'newsnow'. It takes all the other news sources and brings them together. You can also isolate specific areas of interest.

I've used feedly to build my own, but they are never perfect.

I usually resort to just reading both the Telegraph and the Guardian and ignoring the Tory and Feminism guff respectively. The Times would be better than the Telegraph but for the paywall and Murdoch.

Sporting life for PA sport stuff.
Use the 3 free articles a month from FT.com wisely.
Politico.eu is an interesting one.
Zerohedge if I'm in the mood for finance.
Betting.Betfair and RP for a different slant on Sport.
Pinkbike and here...

I need another go at feedly...
