My old faithful pump is a bit of a tight fit in my Seral 7 pack, just fits in the big pocket but that's really straining the zip to get it in, so I'm after something slightly smaller that I can drop in there.

What's the best reasonable price medium to mini sized pump out there at the moment. I really want something that shifts quite bit of air on each stroke and preferably has a T-handle type grip when pumping.

Pressure valve not essential as previous experience has shown them to not be very accurate, but not an issue if it comes with one.

Price not too much of an issue but as always I would prefer something less expensive if possible.

I want to avoid CO2 inflaters if possible as while I can appreciate the size and rapid inflation properties I think they're wasteful and don't like the idea of a 'use once then dispose' solution.

So what works for you?

Cheers.

I have a Syncros Boundary 1.5HV. Comes in two sizes, lock-on connection so it won't unscrew your valve, short hose so it's comfortable to hold, and single-action so it's less tiring to use. No T handle though. The bolt holes on the under-bottle bracket are about 1mm too far apart for the bosses on my bike so I had to shave off a tiny bit to get it to fit.

Like the look of that Topeak one. Another thought I've had is using something to strap my current one to the frame, so has anyone used anything like the Twofish Bikeblock?

I'd be interested to know what sort of diameter tubes they would work on as both my Sonder and GT have pretty broad ones.

The Topeak one comes with a little mount that fits onto bottle cage bosses. Although I’ve never used it, I just bung it in a pack or back pocket.

Size-wise, I’ve done a 2.4 tyre with it, it’s not exactly quick, as you’d expect given its size. But that’s the trade off.

I bought a Specialized Air Tool Big Bore a few years ago. Only 8" long (madame...) so it fits easily in a bumbag let alone a pack, and comes with a frame mount. Have used it a couple of times, and whilst it's never going to be fast, it's done the job well enough to carry on for the day. Not sure it would be up to reseating tubeless, mind, and admittedly fails your t-handle requirement.

Topeak +1, or Blackburn Mountain Mammoth (significantly bigger though).

Decathlon do a variation on the twofish block which is lower profile and only a couple of quid for two. I ended up buying a handful as they're just really useful!

I've got a lezyne pump on the cross bike and a mini floor-pump in the camelback. Both are worse than the topeak for various reasons. They look good, but functionally they're just always sub-par and disappointing.

Topeak Turbo Morph.

Mine is now probably about 13-15 years old. Still going strong.

The only thing I hate about it is flimsy, foldable foot. I broke 3 and decided that I do not really need it anymore.

Cheers!
I.

@TINAS - Cheers for the nod towards the Decathlon version of the BikeBlock, a that price it's not going to hurt if it doesn't work.

That Turbo Morph looks great but is slightly too long to fit in my hip-pack but it's possible a Mini Morph may fit. Either way it looks like Topeak will soon be acquiring some of my hard earned soon.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks.
