Any recommendations for a slack fun 140 hardtail frame for a build.
Ally.
Around £500.

Nothing I've owned ridden but:

One One Summer Session 65.5°
Evil Bikes Sovereign 68°
Blue Pig 67.5°

Are often recommended by others

Marin Rocky Ridge,
Cove Stiffee,
Orange Crush.

Have ridden all three but went with the Marin. Great frames. Get a second hand one as I don't think they do frame only.

If you want light too, probably suggest the 456 Carbon would be worth a look

I'm thinking the term "Ally" may refer to Aluminium not a steel alloy but I may be wrong 😉

Santa Cruz Chameleon fits the fun,£500,140 and ally requirements b ut is not particularly light.
