On the lookout for a new hi-viz waterproof for the road: slim, good movement, durable etc, all the usuals.

Lots on the market, looking for good recommendations.

Cheers!

Are we talking:

- Cheap-and-cheerful, boil-in-a-bag hi-viz race cape for emergencies
- Middle ground, heavyweight, waterproof (but probably not-too-technical material) "proper" jacket
- Top end, all-singing-all-dancing, waterproof, breathable fully featured and still has to the potential to pack into a volume half the size of an atom?

I've been more than happy with the Altura one I have and have heard good things about the DHB ones from wiggle, both low/mid range.

have been weighing this one up recently for winter road outings:

looks pretty smart too

Any recommendations really. Will worry about price after! Just seeing what good jackets are on the market at the moment.

Main things I'm looking for is: breathable, medium weight & pack size, nice feel inside (while wearing SS jerseys), minimal features. Don't need built-in luminescence or LEDs.

I'll stay away from Altura, but have read quite good reviews about Craft and DHB too.
