Ok so I've got a cheap one but was very stuck today as my chain snapped! Thank you very much to the guy who fixed my chain with his very handy (much better than mine) multitool at coed y brennin.

I've got a budget of £30 and looked at the top peak hexus which looks good for the money.
What can you guys recommend?

buy a separate multitool and chain tool. almost without exception chain tools on multi tools aren't great.

Lezyne RAP13 is under £20 and a decent tool with a good chain breaker.

The one on my Crank Brothers 19 multi-tool is pretty decent.

Theflatboy +1. It allows for a decent grip on the tool whilst turning it to pop out the pin and also a decent thumb piece to allow it to be held steady.

Ive had a Crank Bros multitool for nearly 10 years now. Works nearly as good as a seperate chain breaker.

Another Crank Brothers multi 19 here as well, in blue.

Would consider Leyzene tools if the Crank ever fails.

Hexus here too... Chain breaker is absolutely first class, and it's a superior tool in just about every other way too. Except the tyre levers, they're pish but hey, most tools don't even try that. Not as well made as teh Crank Bros and Lezyne ones mind but better designed.
