I'd get a Sandisc MP3 player and listen to podcasts or music rather than a radio.

I use the tunein app on my phone. Depends on signal tho.

I'd use a mobile phone and a 150g power bank.

The Sandisk Clip has an FM tuner. I think its not bad, it is using the headphone cable as the aerial, so depends on where that is going. I've not used the radio much, it is a decent MP3 player anyway. And pretty good battery life.

Don't think there's many options for DAB radio. DAB tuners usually need much more power, so could be limited battery life for a portable device.

As above the signal is the issue. Go for downloaded radio shows on an MP3.

I use on of these as I get insomnia and I can while away the night hours without disturbing my wife.

About the size of a Swan Vestas box.

No MP3 though - runs on AA batteries and I get 15-20 hours out of a set of rechargeables.

Nice to see a gadget that's still using replaceable batteries. I'm still using this MP3 player after about 10 years - 20 hours or so to one rechargeable AA. I'll be gutted when it dies.

When it does go, I'll be looking at the current Sony range. I did get a cheap Ebay version of my Muvo, but it was so loaded with viruses I just ripped it out of the USB port and chucked it in the bin. The Clip+ players are good, but QC can be a bit spotty (loose battery contacts etc).

A mate did send me this link the other day but I suspect it won't meet either your weight or budget criteria...

I've got one of these for walking the dog. Lasts a good three weeks between charges. And you could recharge it with a portable power charger.
Has a speaker or headphones, DAB and FM
Goodmans DAB
