Dropped chain again today on my whyte t129
Going to put a chain guide on, just a small top one. I've got an oval single Chainring up front, will that be a problem.

Here's a link to same bike which has the front mech still on u like mine, there's a direct mount, or I could use a BB mount.
OneUp do a great minimal guide, no drops or issues with mine.
I've got a Blackspire top guide, no complaints.
Oneup - cheap, light, adds that extra bit of security.
The OneUp guides are pretty good.
I've used the ISCG one and the e-type one so far.
They also do a high-direct mount and a BB mount. BB mount appears to accommodate a smaller chainring than High-d-m one does, if that makes any difference to you.
the cheapest is a specialized top guide

Brilliant, no issues with oval ring and these?
i've been using a Unite Components one for a while, which has included BPW and a (slow) Gravity Enduro race and had no problems.

I've got the one up top guide - ISCG fitting. Pounded down the DH at Cwmcarn with no drops. Also done a bit of jumping with no drops. Got a 30t round chainring with mine not oval through.
