I'm looking for a decent mini pump, preferably bottle cage mountable, to replace my Co2 pump which has given up the ghost.

The Co2 pump was great but the cartridges are expensive and seem rather wasteful in the long run so quite happy to forego a bit of time and effort on the very rare occasions that I do get a puncture.

Just bought a Topeak Race Rocket for £20 from Evans, which appears to be the going rate at the moment. Quite compact and looks like it will do the job. Also comes with the all important few inches of rubber hose to connect to the valve which makes life a lot easier.

Pics and specs here, including a pic of it mounted on a bike:

I like this one, the oxford mini track pump, it has a little stand you out under your foot and a little rubber hose. BUT they have a shelf life of about a year and I'm on my 3rd one now. They have changed the design since this pic was taken to include a pressure guage but how effective that is?! I haven't tried it yet.

Not sure which leyzyne I have but it's excellent. Resists all the mud and crap better than most as it has good rubber caps over both ends, and the little hose makes inflation a lot easier as you can pump more furiously 🙂
