Hi, I've been asked to build a bike for a mate, looking for something mid priced and reliable as he is shit at maintenance. Needs to be for 29" tapered steerer if possible and no more than 100mm travel.
Thinking caps on please!

Manitou Tower or Rockshox Reba. Both simple, good value and reliable.
The damping in the Tower Pro isn't that great so go for the Expert.
