I just ordered a set of these. For my drop bar 29er/monstercross monstrosity thing:
eXotic Rigid Carbon 29er Mountain Bike Fork, Post Mount PM Disc Brake, 49.0cm 29 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01AMNB6ES/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_DXXaGbX1X136W?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

They also come in qr15 and boost as well. I got them off Amazon as they were £20 cheaper than direct from carbon cycles

Is the max OK with a rigid fork? Thought they'd be too short since catering for longer travel forks and moving to the longshot setup

I have a Travers prong on my original solaris

Actually, is the max the one like the original solaris with plus tyre rear, rather than a longshot one?

Hi ben it’s the previous one to the current model so Solaris max think it’s based around a 130 mm fork.

+1 exotic but I tend to go for the monocoque version.

I've got some whiskey No9 that I need to get round to advertising if they're of interest. Used less than a dozen times.

I picked up an almost new genesis tarn carbon fork for £100. Takes a 3 inch tyre too. Its been really good.

2nd hand good reputation vs new unknown?

Plenty of people have bought new forks off ebay and not died. Do some research and find a decent brand if that's what your after.

Personally I'd pay more and get an exotic

Been toying with the idea of one of these

https://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/frames-forks-c6/rigid-forks-c51/trek-1120-adventure-touring-fork-p20815

Has got mounting points for all manner of things and is boost spacing which may or may not be of use to you.

Hi Ivan,

I would be very interested in the No.9 forks. I think I am close to you too if I am thinking of the right person 🙂

Can you please send me an email with pics, steerer length, price, etc to watlingdaniel[at]gmail[dot]com? Boost axle spacing? ~500mm AC height?

Thanks!
Daniel

I've got a Tideace MF004 on my bikepacking bike, done a few thousand km with no issue, would happily recommend them. Available in boost or non-boost, 490mm a2c. I got mine from eBay (new) but they're also available on AliExpress, I think I paid about £90 posted about 18 months ago.

I had a set of Tandell Bike boost carbon rigid Forks on my Genesis Tarn before I sold it, great fork, not too expensive (£140 delivered) and excellent quality. I would definitely have one from them again.

Hey there, just wondering if you are still looking to sell on those Whisky forks and how much?

Hey @pillbug, negotiations are currently ongoing with DanW but I'll let you know if no joy. They're the none boost version by the way.
