can folk recommend a 29er frame for a
6ft ( slightly shorter)
14 stone male ( so no weight limits please)
that is
light
cheap ( less than £400)
100 mm fork capable
good tyre clearance
head angle 69 degree ish
compliant....soaks some bumps
2 bottle mounts
able to run front mech and upto 48 outer
threaded BB.......but not a deal breaker
use
touring
winter training on road
occasional event be mtb or sportive
lokking
Thoughts on frames please and real world recommendations on weights on real world weights ......looking at a 24lbs real finish weight with a 29 carbon on one fork
oops ignore me!
njee what is the quality and solidity like?? any geometry??
Absolutely no idea! I had a 26" one from a random seller a few years ago and it was great, although the geometry was a little odd - short TT.
A little more expensive, but these guys have a choice of models and a little more info, but dunno on weights.
Cheers njee, will have a look now.
