I'm looking for a decent chain and lock, sold secure gold if possible, don't want to pay a fortune, say up to £100 (delivered if applicable)

Also needs to be 1m or longer

I've tried searching but entering chain, lock or security return too many none relevant results.

Almax get good reports, I'd not pay too much attention to Sold Secure unless it was an insurance requirement. Not sure if you are after something for home use or portable as weight tends to go up with security.

Sorry, just checked and Almax chain plus decent lock will bust your budget.

What's the point of £100 worth of crap though ? why buy something for even £150 if it's not up to the job.

It's pretty much 100% fact that Almax are the best on the planet. Pay more.. but keep the bike.

I've got a few of these, in the 2m long flavour - each goes through a ground anchor and a pair of bikes.

Def worth looking at motorcycle locks (try Ride magazine tests). I use an Abus sleeved chain w combined lock that I can carry like a courier bag strap. Can lock two bikes to something solid no bother.

Pricey mind.

thanks for input, I should have mentioned that it will be only used with a ground anchor and not carried around so weight not an issue.
