Offset bushings and set the fork longer / longer air shaft.

What’s the bike? How much sag are you running?

I was wondering if 29 wheels would fit... I'll have to try that if I can borrow some... or buy a cheap set, Thanks

Stanton Switch9er FS or a Pole.

The Stanton looks interesting... do you know the BB height (do you own one)?

The BB drop is 14mm. Most full sus 29ers run around 30mm of drop. Yeah I own one 🙂

Couldn't agree more...

Offset bushings are going to buy you approx 5mm of BB height per bushing (so a pair will buy you 10mm). If you increase your fork travel with a 10mm longer air shaft, you'll maintain the geometry exactly as it is now, just with a 10mm taller BB height.

But if I were you, I'd just fit 170 cranks and have done with it...

No worries.

Another thing worth mentioning about it is that it has a really high anti squat value (150%) so when you put some power down it doesn't wallow or sag into the travel which helps it ride high and avoid pedal strikes further.

Shorter cranks have to be an easier option - and if you can get slimmer profile pedals as well that could help. What pedals are you running?

Unless of course you want an excuse for new shiny, in which case get a new frame 😝

New XT cranks come in 165mm and only £140 including chainring.

I ride a 27.5 Stanton FS and the BB isn't that high, I run 170mm cranks and can still get the odd strike.

Shimano do 165 cranks but they're a LOT more expensive than 170s

That's because the 27.5 only has 2mm less drop than the 29er. 27.5 = 12mm and 29er = 14mm

Switch9er FS as above.

Think Dan designs in a higher BB to offset the slackness of the 29er. Something about maintaining snappy direction changes.... It's mentioned in one of the interviews about the geometry.
