With the hard ground I have noticed how poor the cushioning is on my Scott lock-ons.

Any ideas?

Oury - Best i've found but if you've got small hands they may be too chunky.

Lizard skins for me, took my gloves off for a big climb yesterday and the grips feel really nice on bear hands too

I just bought some ESI silicon grips, not lock on but apparently they dont move or throttle, ive only ridden them twice and they are very, very nicely cushioned, come in 2 thicknesses to suit your needs.

I like them, as long as they do stay put I will buy them for the other bike too. So far so good.

ODI Yeti. Best lock on grips I've used. Switched from Ruffians and the Yeti's are so much more comfortable and grippier.

They're also good because the core of the grip is still thin like Ruffians so you have excellent bar feel, but the raised Yeti print offers plenty of cushioning. Definitely worth checking out.
