I've got Suntour XCM 120mm forks on my bike. They came fitted to it. They are rather clunky and a bit sad. I'm a low budget boy but want something better. Hit me up with your recommends under £200. Wheel size is 27.5"

This bike (dont laugh):

The frame is good for me but I'll eventually upgrade all the components.

Manitou Minute? Wiggle has them in your budget, travel can be adjusted.

When I was in the same position I looked in the Classified section of a well known Cyclist Forum on t'internet!

Picked up some very nice Fox forks for about your budget 😀

Probably second hand forks are you best bet for a decent upgrade. I got Pikes for £275 but if you’re patient maybe you’ll get closer to your budget. Some revelations / rebas (32mm stanchions) are likely to be in 2nd hand budget too.

If looking new then it’ll be a struggle - maybe look at Suntour Epixons as they are higher up the range than your xcms.

I'd suggest looking for secondhand Revelations or Rebas - should be possible at your budget, and if they've been looked after and serviced you'll not notice the difference compared with new.

Buy some 2nd hand 29er rebas, maybe in 100mm flavour and run a 650b+ tyre up front 🙂

I have some Rockshox Sektor TK solo air 140mm you can have for half your budget. Spacers to make them 120mm are tuppence and easily fitted

There's some nice nearly new Fox 34s on the classified for £195. I'd take them as a massive upgrade any day of the week.

Cheers guys. This is good upgrade fodder. I've got the local bike mech on the look out too. I'll update when I get something sorted.
