My azonic pedals ate a DU bush in the drive side pedal. I rebuilt the pedal with new bushes and bearings and used lithium grease.

One wet ride later and its clicking again.

Should i have used the thicker red (teflon) grease?

Ta!

Lithium grease is too thing.

Try Teflon grease - its more sticky and should stay put.

But a word of thought - the axel might be worn which might be why its wrecked a new bushing so quick.

i measured the axels with a micrometer and fitting a new bush instantly removes the issue. for the price of a new DU bushing, i'd rather try repairing them than buying a proper azonic pedal kit or buying new ones

Just try some Teflon greese then - or rock n roll super web if you can find it.

Lithium is too thin.
