I just got a very muddy ride yesterday. After getting home and cleaning the bike, I tried to adjust my rebound setting. Then I figure out the rebound knob felt stuck and very rough to turn compare to normal. I unplug the red knob and turn to tweak it with the knob non-clipped in (only 2/3 in length). And everything is so smooth. Once I clipped in the knob all the way in, the problem happened again. I wondered what happen to my fork. It is several weeks old from brand new. Any ideas? Would it be the dirt and grime getting inside the fork leg and causing nasty friction and rough action? Anyone has experienced this before? The rebound function still work as usual but the knob feel nasty.

You can take the top cap off and give it a clean with some wd40. Mine did that, it's just a bit of dried crud underneath.
