You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hello,
It's been a number of years since I last sorted out my bike (and posted on here).
So now I want to get back into riding, and it's all changed. 29ers and 650b frames
And wheel. 1x11 anyway I've gone off topic.
I have a decade virsa and am looking to get some forms for it I did have a set of pikes on the front
But we're too heavy and are now dead. so I am going to replace with Rebas from Merlins
Merlin Reba RLs Not OEM
The question I have is this is it possible to increase the travel on the 100mm fork to 120mm on these by removing the spacer?
If I get the 120mm is it possible to put a spacer in?
Cheers.
AFAIK to change the travel on solo air Rockshox it's a new air spring.
I've got a set of Reba 120s on a decade virsa they work a treat or did when I last rode the poor thing.
Ok, bummer about needing springs.
I am borrowing some 100mm forks. So will see how that feels before purchasing
120mm. Although I may just grab the 120mm and run with a bit more sag.
The Air shafts are only about £35 and you can always sell the 100mm one.
That's not bad, any link for where to get them?
So far Amazon seem to be coming up tops.
Anyone know if the merlin OEM versions can have their teavel adjusted?
As the forks don't mention all travel I'm not sure!
Stop mincing around Holmes and just ****ing buy them so we can get riding again.
