Can anyone tell me, what the difference between Rebas and SID's are?
Cheers 🙂

At a very simple level, SIDS are for racing so lightweight whereas rebas are more trail orientated.

My SIDS are flex compared with my Rebas.

Sids are lighter (and probably flexier).

I'm interested too - I have SIDs on a new bike but they do feel flexy. Anyone know a ballpark figure for the weight penalty?

So, is weight the only difference then, as personally I have not found any noticeable difference in aesthetics apart from the stickers...

Some have different travel.

Specs and weights are on the rockshox website but there are so many different variations it gets confusing.

No idea on internals.

Yeah Rebas look better(!) And SIDs only in Maxle Lite since this year I think so you have to buy new to get that.

Black Box damping is better than Motion Control so bear that in mind. Top two SIDs have Black Box while only the top of the range Reba has it.
