About to pull the trigger on a pair of Sidi Diablo GoreTex MTB Winter Boots, any reason why I shouldn't?
I have the road versions and they have seen me through some pretty bad weather, the mtb versions dont seem to have the replaceable heal though.
Any better options like the shimano MW80's or specialized defrosters? The defrosters dont seem to get good reviews as they arent that warm, but I love my specialized summer shoes and the fit is great.
My sidi road shoes are a touch narrow, but I think I am going to take them to a specialist to see if he can widen them at the toe a bit. I did this with snowboard boots once, just involves stretching them in a vice, for a sustained period.
Cheers
I'm liking the look of the 'new' Lake MX140... haven't pulled the trigger on a pair yet, but they look good 🙂

I just read a few reviews and they sound technically good and waterproof, but IMO, they are FUGLY!!!!, Not that looks are the deciding factor though!!! 🙂
