I have a new frame with a 200mmx50mm rear shock,which is a fox ctd bog standard.just curious,as too wether the 200mmx57mm fox ctd boostvalve factory,from my old wrecked frame would fit,and work with no issues,when set up.I'm guessing warranty on frame would be void.
It might not fit, it will push the linkage out 7mm which will change the geometry. Quickest way is to fit it should take about 10 mins, then ride and see.
It's the same length eye to eye so will fit fine, however 7mm more stroke will increase the travel and could cause clearance issues.
I thought the 200x57 and 200x51 were the same but with an internal spacer. Worth a google.
ah yes my misread, 7mm closer could foul wheel travel so testing with air out is advised.
