Just fitted a Float X2 to my Giant Reign 2 and looking for some ideas on best way to protect it from cable rub,Its the Air can i need to cover now instead of the Stanchion as the X2 is running AC bottom and Stanchion top instead of stanchion on the bottom
Helicopter tape? Self laminating rubber tape? Route cable another way?
Not really got anywhere else for the cables to go,might need to get the Helitape but whats the other stuff?
You could try the old headtube cable tie trick, wrap a large cable tie round in this case the shock body place an open cable tie vertically between the shock body and the large tie then wrap the open one round the cable you want to keep in place.
Pull both tight and the job is done.
