I killed my rear mech recently. It was an SLX. I was going to replace it with the Shadow+ SLX because I like the idea of the clutch but I have seen the XT version for cheaper but this one doesn't have the clutch. So my question is which one is best?

Clutch gets my vote (but maybe pointing out the obvious, only works with 10 speed drivetrains)
