Got some xts and the rear just went when riding a while ago - no power but if pumped the lever then got some action back. Hardly on the mtb these days but decided to bleed it recently. Seemed to do the trick, plenty air burped up through the reservoir and the older fluid seemed darker and crappier than new stuff. Checked a day later and seemed to still be ok but checked yesterday and can pull the lever right to the bar. Can't see any leaks in the hose but wondering if worth persevering or just the replace the hose, olive etc?

Likely to be a leaky piston seal, in which case you can't repair it anyway AFAIK. Replace I'm afraid 🙁

Damn. Was going to get this but not for 775 and struggling to find the relevant one.

EDIT: Looks like this should work or going by older threads a mix of bh90 hose and straight connector

one of my old deore's did this and it was the o ring on the piston under the reservoir and as the piston pushed it would every few pumps just let the lever travel and no brake, few mini pumps of the lever and it worked again, I took of the reservoir cap and watched it do it, I could see fluid coming back in the wrong direction when the lever just traveled without moving the pistons, i had loads of other bakes so stopped using that 1, it looked just like a general o ring to me and maybe its an off the shelf size
