Hi all
A few months back I bought a set of new take off sram code RSC brakes. Running a 200mm rotor up front, and a 180mm on the rear.
The rear has always been more spongy and not grab as well as the front, switched the pads over and it made no difference. And held the lever 24 hours with cable tie
I've repeatedly bled both brakes with motul rbf600 and no improvement. Caliper aligned perfectly and pistons advanced evenly. Also lubricated piston seals.
I'm off to morzine in a months time, and would really like to get it sorted.
Do you think rebuilding the brake lever/master cylinder would help? Unfortunately the rear hose is on the short side, so ideally need to replace that all in one go!
Or are rear brakes known to be spongier due to hose length?
Any thoughts and help appreciated. Thankyou
