Im just using my non boost rear with some of those spacer things off ebay. works perfectly.

If i wanted a boost specific rear i'd probably buy the wheels separately.

I think I'd aim to go for something that can be adapted in case you want to change forks (or to be ready for the next new standard). Hope do this but obviously at a cost. Or just go mis-matched/second hand.

Find someone in the opposite (probably more common) situation.

Probably not much help but I had same issue with my Yeti sb6 and got a wheelset built for a good price at the time (DT240 hubs 471 rims) as a german site were doing some decent custom build prices on DT stuff back then.

If I use an adapter doesn't the rear need 'dishing' not even sure what that means

I bought this and it fitted perfect. Gorilla glued it to the existing adaptor and no dishing required.

Hunt allow you to mix boost and non boost. Bought a set of enduro wheels from them using this exact set up for my Cotic RocketMAX.

nope - if you can run a regular spaced/offset chainring the chainline will be good. i have to run a boost spaced/offset chainring to clear my frame but its still fine.

get the spacers that sit either side of the hub and on the disk mount. i`ve glued the spacers to my frame so they dont fall out when i (very rarely) take the wheel out.

boost is so pointless its silly. there is no need for boost anywhere.
