On one? https://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/TYOOCM29X24/on-one-chunky-monkey-29x24-tyre

Good selection on bike discount - various makes and most of everyone’s favourites, but all £30-40

Some of the Specialized tyres are pretty good and well priced.

Trail boss is tough and cheap (at that Planet X price for sure), but I wouldn't say it has lots of bite. Very good in the dry but hopeless on anything a bit slick IME. Only tyre that has had a damn good go at killing me 🙂

Depending what you want Spec Hillbilly is pretty hard to beat for grip, Butcher not bad as well but more allround than winter!

I've had a Spesh Ground Control on the back of my 29er for 2 Winters now. Still surprises me how well it handles slop even at least half worn. Beaver up front, works for me.
