So the endura single track shorts have been my go to shorts for the last couple of years and I love the quality of their stuff. I also have a very old endura jacket now which needs replacing. I also have a young family now and out of hours riding is becoming my normal. So thought I would replace and upgrade my winter riding gear.
One issue I've always had is jackets getting really wet and hot on the inside. The mt500s breath ability is super high and reads like it should help/stop this. How have riders actually found the jacket?
And thinking I'll match it with the mt500 spray shorts so any comments on these are welcome to.
I got one earlier this year but didn't get chance to really use it until a trip to Iceland a couple of weeks ago. The weather was generally cool, about 10C most days, with occasional showers.
Never got to the point where I was sweating enough to properly test the jacket but as it's three layer Goretex then it will be similar to any other three layer jacket.
If you are working hard enough to produce a lot of sweat then there's no jacket that will deal with it properly. But then you need to get hot and sweaty to make the Goretex work as intended by providing a temperature and humidity gradient.
The MT500 is the first Goretex jacket I've bought in about twenty years, for most outdoor stuff I now use either Buffalo or Paramo. For British conditions they just work.
K thanks for the reply.
Think I'll just bite the bullet and order it.
Umm yellow or black!

Well, there is, neoshell. It's bloody expensive though.
got one, its a bit on the smallish size length ways but its a superb jacket. got the matching shorts and they are ace too although they lack pockets.
