I guess it's a bit niche but are there any ready-built wheel options out there I can just click 'buy now' on for a single-speed, non-disc 700c clincher rear wheel with 32 or 36 spokes (suitable for CX, sealed bearings etc. and preferably under £150)? I'd rather avoid the hassle of getting the bits separately.

why not just get a shop to build one of these http://www.ison-distribution.com/english/product.php?part=HUDCSF2S onto an Open Pro - would cost way less than £150 and be great!?

That's a track hub so is for a frame with a 120mm dropout spacing. Most CX frames are 130mm and those for discs are usually 135mm.

yeah, but it's got lots of axle - plenty of room to space it out to 130mm. Not many options otherwise, or they get expensive - Phil, etc...

err yeah forgot to say this is a 135mm spacing (even though non-disc). I did see some Surly hubs from CTBM which fit the hub bill but couldn't be bothered trying to work out what spokes I needed etc. :p

Goldtec will build you a "buy it now" wheel on one of their track hubs which will accept freewheels. They are strong, roll well and you can choose which axles length you require

+1 on the Goltec route, the hubs are pretty bombproof and the axle swapping can come in handy

finding a 135mm/700c ready built wheel can be tricky, although a light thin rimmed 29er would do

actually i've got a non-disc XTR on Open Pro wheel that's doing nothing, let me just check the bearings.....
